Thank you for choosing Moose Pass Campground! Tucked into the beautiful Kenai Mountains and surrounded by Chugach National Forest, we offer a quiet, wooded place to camp along the scenic Seward Highway. Sites include electricity, fire rings and picnic tables, with firewood available for purchase.

A short walk brings you to Upper Trail Lake, the local playground and ball field, Trail Lake Lodge and the Moose Drop-In Trading Post. The bike path runs right by the campground, making it easy to explore Moose Pass without moving your rig.

There’s plenty of adventure nearby. Paddle the area’s lakes with Moose Pass Adventures, take a flightseeing trip with Scenic Mountain Air, or explore miles of hiking and biking trails in Chugach National Forest. Johnson Pass Trail, part of the historic Iditarod Trail, is just a few miles away, along with Ptarmigan Creek, Carter Lake and other great Kenai Mountain hikes. Moose Pass is a great home base for exploring the Kenai Peninsula. Seward and Resurrection Bay are just down the highway, while Cooper Landing and the Kenai River are an easy drive in the other direction.
